Bayern Munich reportedly offered Liverpool £21 million for Sadio Mane, but Liverpool has reportedly rejected the offer
Liverpool are not ready to let Sadio Mane leave the club without a fight as the Premier League giants have rejected the first bid from Bayern Munich for the Senegalese forward.
The Bavarians have been touted as the likely destination for Mane, who is entering the final year of his Liverpool contract.
Mane is considered by the Bundesliga champions as the perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is pushing for a move away from the German giants.
According to a report via the Daily Mail, Bayern have had an opening £21million bid rejected for Sadio Mane by Liverpool.
The Bundesliga champions also included a £4 million in add-ons in the bid submitted last week should Bayern Munich win the UEFA Champions League in the future.
Liverpool didn’t entertain the offer as they believe Mane, who has won every trophy possible with the Reds, is worth more, but they haven’t set a price on the player.
