MABOKGWANE HAS SUDDENLY FOUND HIMSELF OUT OF FAVOUR

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane seems set for a first season without first-team action after featuring in the PSL over the past decade.

The 34 years being first-choice at the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic just last season and earning eleven Bafana Bafana caps, Mabokgwane has suddenly found himself out of favour this term.

Mabokgwane moved across at the beginning of the season when Celtic were sold to Royal AM but his time in KwaZulu-Natal brought little joy until his release in January.

The 34-year-old has failed to feature so far this season having sat on the bench for three consecutive games against Stellenbosch, AmaZulu, and his former club Mamelodi Sundowns towards the end of last year while still on the books of Royal AM.
