Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has joined an exclusive PSL club following his brace against CR Belouizdad on Saturday night.
The Brazilians hammered the Algerian outfit 4-1 in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals to put one foot in the semi-finals.
In scoring twice against Belouizdad, Shalulile took his tally of goals since arriving in South Africa to 100, and thus joining the few that achieved the same feat.
PETER SHALULILE HAS NETTED 100 GOALS IN THE PSL
Shalulile first arrived in 2015 from Namibia after signing for Highlands Park, and during his time there, he scored 27 topflight goals.
He then moved to Sundowns where he has scored 73 goals across all competitions for them, and thus taking his tally to 100 goals.
Shalulile is the seventh player to score a century of topflight goals since the start of the PSL era in 1996.
He is the second active player to achieve this feat after Bradley Grobler of SuperSport United did the same not so long ago this season.
