Report: Real Madrid Have Already Signed Atletico Madrid Youth Team Gem

Just hours after reports revealing Real Madrid’s pursuit of Ariel Nkhoge, it appears the Spanish giants have completed the signing of the Atletico Madrid youngster.

This has been reported by Jose Felix Diaz of MARCA, who suggests the young center-back will soon join the Real Madrid academy.

Earlier this month, Mario Cortegana had claimed that the Merengues had already signed two prospects from their cross-town rivals. And Nkhoge could become the third Atletico Madrid youngster to join Real Madrid, in what could be the latest violation of the non-aggression pact between the two clubs.

The traditional rivals had set particular boundaries in order to regulate transfers and secure their academies. But they broke their non-aggression pact when Real Madrid decided to sign Jesus Fortea last summer.

A centre-back by trade, Nkhoge is regarded as one of the best talents in the Atleti youth academy. He is capable of operating both as centre-back and a left-back – making him an appealing target for any coach.

Having turned 16 years old in March, the young defender has decided to sign his first professional contract with Real Madrid, the report states.

Nkhoge should help Real Madrid increase their ranks in the youth department, which has already generated a series of top-quality individuals in recent years.

The report goes on to suggest that Real Madrid may target more Atletico Madrid academy players in the coming months. The signing of another youngster is already under the pipeline, as part of the club’s plans to reinforce the youth department.

Overall, Los Blancos may end up signing a total of five or six Atletico Madrid youngsters, which could drastically increase tensions between the two clubs.
