Serie A giants Napoli have already identified Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka as a potential replacement for Kim Min-Jae, who interests Manchester United.
Daniele Longo has reported that United are leading the pack for Kim, who remains quite happy in Naples and he has already iterated that.
But the fact that he has a release clause of €45 million to €50 million which will only be applicable for foreign clubs for two weeks in July is quite a dangerous situation for Napoli, who do not want to take any risks.
While the Partenopei are quite convinced that Kim will stay for another season, Cristiano Guintoli is not someone who takes things for granted in football.
That is why he sees Ndicka as a potential replacement for Kim and contacts for him have already intensified. The defender is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer this summer.
There remains a difference between Ndicka’s wage demands and Napoli’s offers but there remains a common willingness to carry forward the talks.
