Randal Kolo Muani could be an option for Bayern Munich this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Kolo Muani is willing to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer despite still being in contract. One club showing interest is Bayern Munich.
Under former head coach Julian Naagelsmann, there was no interest in the French international. However, under Thomas Tuchel the situation has changed.
As reported by Plettenburg, Bayern are willing to spend around €100m on a striker in the summer, despite extending the contract of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The club will take their time in finding the right fit. One of the potential candidates is Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani.
Frankfurt bosses have informed Bayern that a fee of around €70m-€80m will not be enough. Sporting director Markus Krösche wants at least €100m plus bonuses. What’s more,
Frankfurt are planning on keeping the 24-year-old forward even if they don’t get Champions League football next season. With no release clause and still under contract, it will take a lot of money for Kolo Muani to leave Frankfurt this summer.
