Report: Real Madrid Ready To Offer Eintracht Frankfurt Striker Randal Kolo Muani
Randal Kolo Muani became a household name overnight last December, particularly on the night France faced Argentina in the final of the FIFA World Cup. The French side ended up on the losing end, but it was Kolo Muani who had a staggering chance to net the winner in the final minute.
Yet, if one were to turn back the clock and re-witness the final in Qatar, it would not take long to realise that the 24-year-old’s introduction in the 41st minute brought France back into the game. When coupled with his numbers at the club level, the youngster’s CV is promising.
According to reports from Santi Aouna (via Madrid Xtra), Real Madrid really like Kolo Muani. However, there is nothing advanced at the moment.
While the club have considered his name in the past, the operation promises to be a complicated affair because of his exorbitant price tag.
The 24-year-old has made 31 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in the process. Further, he averages 1.3 key passes per game and has created 11 big chances.
Kolo Muani’s contract with the German side runs until the summer of 2027. Eintracht Frankfurt are aware of the market value of top-quality forwards and thus will not permit him to leave unless a significant offer arrives.
Los Blancos are already on the lookout for their next big striker, especially considering that the next season could be Karim Benzema’s final term at the club.
Dusan Vlahovic, Harry Kane and Goncalo Ramos are said to be prime contenders to arrive at the Bernabeu in June, but the club will first have to decide their stance on Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
