SAM ADAMS SUPERB STRIKE SEALS WIN FOR FIREBOYS

Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts Of Oak was defeat in Dormaa as Aduana FC Stars beat them 1:0.

The Ghana Premier League Week 20 game was expected to be fiercely contested and it lived up to expectations.

The Phobians were calm and collected in possession as they tried to dictate the pace of the game.

Hearts midway through the first half were forced to make a change as their goalkeeper Richard Attah got injury.

He was replaced by Richmond Ayi and the second choice goalkeeper had a tough first few minutes as Aduana took the lead.

Sam Adams found space on the right-hand side of the Hearts of Oak defence and beautifully fired his shot into the net to make it 1:0 to Aduana before the break.

The second half saw Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu bring on Isaac Mensah and Patrick Mensah but that yielded little result as Aduana held their own to see the game ending 1:0.

The win seems Aduana cement their second-place position with 36 points on the league table while Hearts of Oak are 6th with 29 points.
