Sunderland Complete The Signing Of Defender Jenson Seelt From PSV
- Sunderland Sign 20-Year-Old Jenson Seelt From PSV.
Sunderland have signed Jenson Seelt from PSV Eindhoven. The 20-year-old centre-back will travel to the North East of England this week to undergo a medical and finalise the move to the Championship club.
Seelt has played in PSV’s youth academy since 2017. Last season he featured 33 times for Jong PSV, scoring four goals and providing an assist within those games. Seelt made one appearance for the first team during the 21/22 Eredivisie campaign. He featured for 15 minutes as a substitute against PEC Zwolle. Seelt, who stands at 6ft 3in tall, has plenty of potential to become a star in the Sunderland squad.
Seelt’s adventure will continue at the Stadium of Light, where head coach Tony Mowbray will manage him. The Dutch defender has signed a long-term deal at the club. Last season the Black Cats finished in sixth place before losing to Luton Town in the Championship playoff semi-final.
