Fraser Forster has joined Tottenham on a two-year deal from Southampton following the 34-year-old’s contract expiration at St Mary’s
Tottenham has announced their second summer signing after revealing Fraser Forster has joined the North London club after leaving Southampton.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper has struggled for first-team football recently, making only 19 league appearances for the Saints in the 2021/22 season.
Forster who leaves Southampton on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract joins Spurs on a two-year deal until 2024 The Sun reports.
The England international becomes Antonio Conte’s second summer signing following the signature of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan also on a free transfer.
Fraser Forster who has featured for Celtic and Newcastle United is expected to play a backup role to the first-choice goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris at Tottenham.
