WEST HAM EYEING MOVE TO SIGN 6ft 5in COLOSSUS GERZINO NYAMSI.

West Ham United allegedly want to sign Strasbourg centre-back Gerzino Nyamsi in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from RMC Sport who claims that Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the giant 25-year-old defender to the London Stadium.

Central defence is an area where Moyes absolutely has to bolster in the summer transfer window.

Angelo Ogbonna is still out with an ACL injury and he will be 34 before the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Craig Dawson will soon be 34 whilst Issa Diop seemingly faces a bleak future at the London Stadium.

And it seems as though Moyes has a particular centre-back in mind who would significantly bolster his defensive options…

RMC Sport reckon that the French defender is firmly on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

We think that the 25-year-old Strasbourg centre-back would be a good addition for West Ham.

Standing at 6ft 5in tall, Nyamsi cuts a really imposing figure.

In 26 Ligue 1 appearances for Strasbourg this season, the Frenchman has averaged one tackle, 0.7 interceptions and 2.3 clearances per game. He’s also won an average of 2.8 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).

He’s made 42.3 passes on average per game and has recorded a completion rate of 84.7% (Who Scored).

Nyamsi is a physically imposing central defender who is strong in the challenge and quick along the ground.

At 25, he’s at a great age to move to the Premier League from Ligue 1.

Quite how much money Strasbourg will demand for the French defender remains to be seen, however.
