Oliver Khan has slammed Robert Lewandowski for his ways he chose to communicate his readiness to leave Bayern

Oliver Kahn who is one of the directors at Bayern Munich has expressed disappointment over comment made by Robert Lewandowski about his departure at the German giants.

Robert Lewandowski disclosed that he is ready to leave Bayern Munich this summer adding that he hopes the club’s chiefs would not stop him from facing the exit doors.

But that statement made in the public seems not to be okay with Oliver Kahn who slammed the Polish striker for his comment.

Lewandowski has been playing for Bayern Munich since 2014 and the 33-year-old has scored massive 238 goals for the German Bundesliga side.

What did Robert Lewandowski say?

“My story with Bayern has come to an end, I cannot imagine further good cooperation and I hope they will not stop me (from leaving) just because they can. A transfer is the best solution for everyone.”

According to the report on Mirror and Daily Post, Oliver Kahn explained that Robert should be grateful to Bayern and show respect for the club.

Oliver Kahn’s response to Robert Lewandowski’s comment

“I can’t tell you why Robert chose this way to communicate his situation. Public statements like that don’t get you anywhere. Robert should know what he has at Bayern. Appreciation is not a one-way street.”

Barcelona are placed third on the list, with Bayern Munich and this season’s Champions League runners-up, Liverpool, completing the top five slots.
