In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the 35-year-old Uruguayan marksman received an emotional tribute at the Wanda Metropolitano this Tuesday, June 7 in a ceremony that was attended by Atleti president, Enrique Cerezo, his family and club employees.
Suárez, who had earlier said his goodbye to the fans at the Wanda Metropolitano in the match against Sevilla, will be fondly remembered at the capital club for his important goals such as the match against Osasuna and in the game against Valladolid to give clinch the 2020-21 league title for the Rojiblancos.
