‘If Ngcobo Is Going, Ngezana And Kwinika Must Follow’ – Kaizer Chiefs Critic

We all have big opinions on Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs, but are they as strong as Junior Khanye’s views? Check out what he has said on Njabulo Ngcobo’s expected departure out of Naturena.

As previously reported across local media in May, the Glamour Boys are set to part ways with the 29-year-old former Uthongathi and Swallows defender after just 14 appearances last season.

JUNIOR KHANYE NOT IMPRESSED

Responding to the unpopular reports, the club’s former winger and famous iDiskiTV pundit, Junior Khanye, feels that Siyabonga Ngezana and Zitha Kwinika are also not good enough to continue as Glamour Boys.

“If Kaizer Chiefs are planning to offload Njabulo Ngcobo, (as reported by the iDiski Times website), then other defenders must follow him,” the outspoken former winger said on page 13 of the latest edition of iDiskiTimes.

“Players such as Siyabonga Ngezana and Zitha Kwinika must follow him. In fact, as a football player, he is better than many of the defenders left at Chiefs.

“As we understand it, Kaizer Chiefs have placed Ngcobo on the transfer-list. I am sticking to my some clubs pay atter opinion that he should be followed by other players.

“A few years ago, Ngcobo was the DStv Premiership Defender of the Season. He was playing for Swallows FC. I think he joined the wrong club in Chiefs because he is a defender who likes playing the ball.

“At Chiefs, Gavin Hunt and Arthur Zwane preferred their defenders to kick the ball long,” Khanye added.

Meanwhile, the Soweto giants are set to announce new central defenders in Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.
