JULIUS FRANCIS WANTS MIKE TYSON REMATCH AFTER LOSING SECURITY LICENSE.

Julius Francis is open to facing Mike Tyson in an exhibition rematch after revealing his security license has been revoked.

Francis, 57, went viral on social media for knocking out an angry man during a shift as a security guarad at BoxPark in London.

The one-punch hammer blow, which incapacitated the person involved instantly, has been viewed millions of times around the world.

Despite BoxPark head Roger Wade defending Francis for his actions, the former British heavyweight champion told TMZ he can no longer do his job.

“The security authority industry called the SIA actually suspended my licence to work,” he said in an interview with TMZ from his home.

“I can’t work at the moment, so I’m trying to get that sorted so I can get back to work as soon as possible.”

As he waits for a final decision on whether he can renew his crowd control duties, Francis stated he’d be open to a battle with Tyson again.

The pair first met in 2000 at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Tyson put Francis, who famously worse advertisements on the soles of his shoes, down four times.

However, Francis would be willing to share a ring with Tyson again if the money was right.

“If there is a promoter that’s willing to promote a sanctioned fight. I never have liked talking about money, but they could come up with a decent offer, then who knows?

“I’m going to put it out there. I’m going to say, ‘Yes. Yes, we can have a rematch.’ I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, ‘Yes.’”

Police action

An investigation into whether Francis acted lawfully when subduing the man with an almight right hand KO concluded in a swift manner. Francis explained how things went down with the Met. Police.

“I was taken to the police station and was there for about four-and-a-half hours,” the Briton explained.

“But they said no further action would be taken in this case. That’s because of the statements from my manager and people who were are at the door.

“They looked at our CCTV and saw what happened.”

It’s a long shot, but Tyson vs. Francis 2 has a very short shelf life. If Mike wants to get it done, he has mere weeks to do so until the Julius Francis story loses traction.

Tyson has been in the headlines himself for beating up a fan on an airplane. “The Baddest Man” also faced no criminal action.
