Aleksander, who won his first Alpine overall title in 2019, had succeeded Marcel Hirscher that season. Earlier this year, if Aleksander finished second overall in the Alpine Ski World Cup, then Mikaela collected her fifth World Cup title. Last night, the couple walked the ESPYs red carpet together as Mikaela created history. Shiffrin became the only second skier in history to win the ESPY award for best athlete in the women’s sport. If Aleksander has found tremendous success in making ski racing his profession then his brother last played the sport in 2011 as a student at the University of Denver.

Andreas is currently a senior partner at Pareto Securities and previously worked with DNB Markets. His family has been seen in some of his races in the past, cheering him on.

In the 2022 Olympics, the ski racer won silver and bronze medals, with the silver coming from alpine combined and the bronze from Super-G.

Is Mikaela Shiffrin Married? Relations With Boyfriend, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde

Mikaela Shiffrin hasn’t tied the knot with her boyfriend, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde.

The couple began dating at the end of 2020 but had known each other for several years. In an interview with Reuters, Mikaela said she met Aleksander six or seven years, and he had also sent her a friend request.

A year later, he asked her on a date, but Mikaela denied it, but now they are the most well-known couple in the skiing scene.

Mikaela And Aleksander Began Dating In 2020

Aleksander and Mikaela, who first connected through social media years ago, began conversing on social media before Mikalea told him to fly out to see her in Colorado.

She made him take a COVID test, and the two went for a walk while remaining six feet apart with masks on. Aleksander had always been close with Mikael’s family and had reached out to her after her father, Jeff Shiffrin’s untimely demise.

The couple went official with their relationship in Summer 2021. Aleks shared a picture of him and Mikaela and captioned the post, “If you know, you know… and now you know.”

A couple of months later, Mikaela shared the video of her and Aleks riding bicycles on the Brooklyn Bridge, hinting that they were now an official couple. Later that year, the couple walked the red carpet of ESPYs hand in hand, and they did so last year as well.

Previously, Mikaela thanked her boyfriend Aleksander for bringing her back on track after she had lost motivation for skiing after her father’s death.

Last month speaking to the official Olympics, Aleksander joked that he may be a well-known figure in his country, Norway, but in the US, he is only a plus one to Mikaela.

Their two love for each other was seen in the documentary, Moving Right Along, which followed Mikaela’s story, released earlier this year on YouTube. It was also seen in Aleks’s documentary, “Aamodt Kilde,” released earlier this year in March.
