MIKEL ARTETA ANGRY AT ARSENAL BOARD OVER INDECISION IN TRANSFER MARKET

The move has infuriated Mikel Arteta who is growing frustrated at the club board who insists all major transactions are approved by the club’s American ownership

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is growing increasingly frustrated with the London’s club indecision in the transfer market as the Gunners are yet to make a major signing this summer.

Arteta has identified some key targets for a summer transfer move to the Emirates but his efforts are being stalled by a club policy that insists major transactions must be approved by the club’s American ownership.

Gabriel Jesus is one of the top targets Mikel Arteta wishes to bring to Arsenal this summer but the Gunners are now set to miss out on the Manchester City striker Daily Mail reports.

Arsenal were quick to express their interest when Jesus became available for transfer almost two months ago, but have yet to commit to paying City’s £50 million asking price.

Arsenal are hoping to improve their playing squad ahead of the 2022/23 season following the summer exit of star forward, Alexander Lacazzete.
