Napoli Manager Talks About Argument With Osimhen

  • Napoli Boss Rudi Garcia After Arguments Wit Victor Osimhen “What I Told Him Stays In The Locker Room”.

Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has spoken about Victor Osimhen after both of them were seen to be involved in an argument.

The Partenopei were held to draw by Bologna earlier today and this left Napoli winless in three games running in Serie A, even though they did manage to win their recent Champions League game against Braga.

Form like that is questionable for the Scudetto winners from last season, with questions being raised about Garcia’s abilities as manager.

Osimhen was taken off by Garcia late in the game and the Nigerian was angry at the manager, having told him that keeping two strikers upfront would’ve made more sense when the side needed a goal. Osimhen had also missed a penalty in the game.

After the game, Garcia talked about the controversy and stated: “The missed penalty happens to the greatest players in the history of football. Then I obviously spoke to him about his exit, but what I said to him and the team he remains in the locker room. I may not be happy with their performance, but we are a squad with many players and therefore obviously everyone must be used. He is the penalty taker.”

Osimhen’s problems are quite out in the open but he isn’t the only player struggling under Garcia. Khicha Kvaratskhelia is yet to score under the Frenchman and this tells a lot about his situation as manager right now.
