Nick Taylor Brother: Josh Taylor Is A Musician

Nick Taylor is a Canadian-born golfer who competes in the PGA Tour. Turned professional in 2010, the Manitoba native formerly played in the Web.com Tour.

The three-time PGA Tour champ Nick Taylor and his brother Josh Tayor both used to play golf. But the latter switched to music while Nick took a flight into the professional golf scene.

He won his third PGA Tour title in the 2023 RBC Canadian Open defeating Tommy Fleetwood; he became the first Canadian citizen to win it since 1954 and the first Canadian-born since 1914.

Taylor’s first-ever PGA title came in the 2014 Sanderson Farms Championship when he emerged victorious over the runner-up Jason Bohn and Boo Weekley.

Then, he won the 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where Kevin Streelman finished as a runner-up.

The University of Washington alumnus made some notable amateur career achievements that include the 2006 Canadian Junior, 2007 Canadian Amateur Championship & 2009 Sahalee Players Championship.

Nick Taylor Brother Josh Taylor: A Golfer-Turned-Musician

The PGA Tour golfer is the youngest of two- he has an elder brother named Josh Thomas Taylor, born on May 25, 1985.

The Taylor brothers have an age gap of two years, 10 months and 20 days.

Josh and his golf star younger brother Nick both attended Yale Secondary School. There, Josh was a three-sport athlete who played golf, basketball, and volleyball.

Moreover, the elder Taylor brother’s high school achievements include a victory in the Canadian Junior Golf Association Tour and Western Canadian Junior Golf Tour three times.

Then, he enrolled at the University of British Columbia before his sophomore year transfer to the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP), where he played golf.

While at UTEP, Josh got the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

After graduation, he opted for a music venture rather than golf.

Though, it won’t stop him from supporting his brother Nick in his golf career. The Canadian golfer often shares throwback pictures with his brother on his social media.

They keep their brotherhood low-key from the media, but it’s undeniable that the two are forever ready to lend ears and hands to each other.

Not wrong to say they are more of best friends than brothers.

Nick Taylor Parents: Who Are They?

The Canadian golfer was born on April 14, 1988, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His father’s name is Jay Taylor, while his mother’s name is Darlene Taylor.

Although not much about Nick’s parents are out, they are his biggest supporters.

Taylor’s dad and mom both ensured that their sons enhanced their passion for golf and the result is on display now.

With the win at the 2023 RBC Canadian Open on Jun 11, 2023, he became the first Canadian-born to take the title since 1914, ending a century-long drought.

Taylor Is The Father Of Two Kids: Wife And Relationship

A successful career and fatherhood with a loving wife is what many strive for. Well, the PGA Tour golfer Nick Taylor is thankful to his wife, Andie Taylor (b. August 1988), for the same.

Taylor and Andie got married on May 11, 2014, and are together ever since.

The couple are parents to two adorable kids, a son and a daughter.

Their first child, son Charlie Wells Taylor, was born on October 24, 2019, followed by the birth of their daughter Harper Mae Taylor in May 2023.

Besides being a doting mom and a supportive wife, Andie is an active social worker and participates in charity causes with her golfer husband.

She used to work as a full-time social worker at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in 2014.
