Real Madrid Weighing Up A Summer Move For Tottenham Striker Richarlison

Real Madrid consider the signing of a new forward ‘essential’ to their team-building for next season. The club have already identified a couple of options in the form of Dusan Vlahovic and Richarlison.

Real Madrid’s saga with Vlahovic was already well-documented, with the Juventus forward reportedly being offered to the Spanish club during the January transfer window.

But Richarlison could arguably be a far more interesting option for Los Blancos. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti is quite fond of the attacker, having worked together during their time at Everton.

Ancelotti rates the Brazilian highly because of his work ethic in the final third coupled with his ability to find goalscoring opportunities. His performances in the Premier League back his skills as well, with the forward scoring over 50 goals in 152 competitive matches for Everton.

It is no secret that Real Madrid are set to go big in the coming summer. With a host of current first-team players facing an uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu, they are expected to bring in new stars and strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Richarlison subsequently joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. And although the forward is yet to find the back of the net for his new club in the league, he is considered a valuable option for Real Madrid due to his versatility and attacking prowess.

However, Real Madrid are aware of the fact that luring Richarlison to Santiago Bernabeu could be tricky. Even if the attacker is willing to make the move, he has a contract at Spurs until 2027, which should give the Premier League giants significant leverage over the player’s future.

Fortunately for the reigning Spanish champions, they have no shortage of options. While Vlahovic is the obvious alternative, the club have candidates in mind as well, as they brace themselves for a busy summer ahead.
