Sassuolo Come From A Goal Down To Beat Inter Milan

  • Sassuoko Come From Behind To Deal Inter First Serie A Defeat.

Sassuolo followed up their victory over Juventus at the weekend by coming from behind to beat league-leaders Inter at the San Siro.

Inter’s perfect start in Serie A was on the line once again, but Nerazzurri appeared to be keen on keeping their winning streak alive from the off.

The home side struggled in front of goal but that did not stop them from taking the game to Sassuolo, who can score goals for fun from time to time.

It took nearly all of the first half, but Inter finally found the opener that they deserved, as Denzel Dumfries sized up his man from the right-wing before cutting inside and firing home a daisy-cutter into the back of the net to set the San Siro alight.

The buzz cut was short after the break however, as two goals in nine minutes including a rocket from Domenico Berardi saw Sassuolo snatch a shock lead just past the hour mark to put Inter’s perfect start in jeopardy.

The quick turnaround appeared to stun the Nerazzurri, and despite a late push proved too much to overcome, seeing Inter suffer their first loss of the Serie A campaign.
