David has worked in multiple short movies and television series. He is currently directing an upcoming movie ”Lone Star Bull.”

In 2013, the brother of the star racer was commissioned by the BBC to make a documentary about his sister and her ambition to become the first female F1 driver to race since 1974.

David made a 60-minute documentary titled, ”Driven: The Fastest Woman in the World,” and it was watched by more than 2 million people. In 2014, David won the prestigious RTS Award for the documentary.

About the documentary, he says:

”Susie was very open and honest throughout filming as she knew that I wasn’t out to do some expose on women in motorsport; instead, I was aiming to tell her story and prove that she’s not on a crusade to show that women can compete against men on the racetrack.”

Susie and her brother’s relationship extends beyond this. They two share tight bonds.

In several interviews, David has talked about how they used to play karts when they were younger.

Who Are Susie Wolff’s Parents

Susie’s parents, John and Sally, have been married for a long time. They are the proprietors of a motorbike dealership.

Susie and her brother were first placed on skis and bikes by their parents when they were very young. The siblings used to spend most of their time racing the little go-karts behind the main racetrack as they watched their father compete in bike races.

Susie’s career began when her father eventually stopped racing and purchased decent karts for Sally and her brother. At the age of 13, she was introduced to her first Formula 3 race, where she recognized her potential as a racing driver.

When the couple was enjoying a vacation in Venice, Toto got down on his knee and proposed to Susie. The couple later got married in 2011 on the Italian island of Capri.
