Tommy White was born to his parents, Tom And Stacey White, on March 2, 2003, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

His parents have nurtured, cared for, and raised him to be the person he is today.

The athlete is a first baseman and designated hitter for the LSU Tigers, who got transferred from the North Carolina State Wolfpack in June 2022.

White grew up in St. Pete Beach, Florida, and attended Calvary Christian High School.

When in high school, White was voted an All-American by Perfect Game and by Under Armour. To top it off, he also won the Under Armour home run derby title.

Prior to his senior year, he transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He then attended the University of North Carolina to pursue his academic and athletic career.

Tommy White not only inherits his name from his father but also abundant inspiration and motivation that fuels his pursuit of becoming an athlete.

Tommy’s father, Tom, was a football player during his college days who played as a running back for the Benedictine University Eagles (1983-84).

Tom obtained his bachelor’s degree in Education, majoring in history and physical education from Benedictine University.

He is an experienced company president with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry.

Tom is a self-made man and owns a company TWI Reconstruction, which he established in January 1998.

Tommy’s mother, Stacey, is originally from Jamestown, New York but currently resides in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

She completed her high school at East Bay High School in 1983. Moreover, Stacey supports her son Tommy in his pursuit of a baseball career.

Tommy White Shoulder Injury

Tommy suffered a right shoulder injury while sliding back into first base during the first inning of the Tigers’ season-opening game against Western Michigan on February 17.

During the game, he slid head-first back to the base and appeared to be in discomfort after his arm collided with the bag.

He was then rushed out of the game by a trainer holding his right arm up as he entered the dugout.

Speculations and emotions were running very high, assuming that it was a serious injury.

However, coach Jay Johnson provided a generally positive statement regarding the issue after the game.

The coach said he didn’t think it was as bad as it looked, but he told Tommy would not play the next day.
