Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that new signings are soon set to arrive at the club.
The Blues boss was speaking after Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 in their latest pre-season friendly over night in the USA.
It was a very exciting game to watch for the neutrals, and Chelsea could have actually scored more goals. But it was a little concerning to concede some late goals and almost end up drawing the match when it should have been dead and buried a long time ago. Of course, it’s a pre-season and you often see very open games like this. Pochettino has also only been with this group for three weeks!
The group is very young and lacks experience, and Pochettino has raised that in his latest comments and says they are working on bringing in more signings as soon as possible.
In words picked up by Nizaar Kinsella, Pochettino said: “We need to be careful. When you play for Chelsea, people expect to win. Yes, we have many young but we need experience also. We are working hard to add players.”
