Everton have confirmed the signing of Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old was extremely close to joining the Toffees in January but instead opted for a temporary switch to Tottenham.
His spell in North London did not prove a success as he made just one league start for the club, and a buy option was not taken up.
Everton are Danjuma’s third English club, with a two-year stint with Bournemouth coming prior to joining Villarreal in the summer of 2021.
The Dutch international becomes Sean Dyche’s second signing of the summer after Ashley Young joined on a free transfer.
