Welsh icon Gareth Bale has now won his historic fifth Champions League title despite making just seven minutes appearance in the competition during the just-concluded season.

The 32-year-old was an unused substitute in the final against Liverpool as Vinicius Junior scored the only goal to gift Los Blancos their fourteenth Champions League crown.

The winger completes his contract with Real Madrid after winning the prestigious title for a fifth time with SunSport reporting that Bale has won the title 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and now 2022 at the Stade de France.
