GARETH BALE SENDS MESSAGE TO UKRAINE AHEAD OF WORLD CUP PLAY-OFF WITH WALES

Gareth Bale has made it clear that he and his teammates are ready for the World Cup play-off against Ukraine.

Gareth Bale who plays for Real Madrid has condemned Russia’s attack on Ukraine in which many lives have been lost as the forward confirmed the readiness of his teammates in the national team for the World Cup play-off.

Wales will on Sunday evening, 5 June, face Ukraine in 2022 World Cup play-off as Gareth Bale is aiming to help his nation reach their first World Cup in 64 years.

According to the report in the UK Sun, the Real Madrid star has confirmed that he and his teammates won’t be tendering any apology if they should knock Ukraine out.

He added that the attack on Ukraine was terrible.

“It is a game of football and it is a competition that we want to get to as well”.

“Everyone in the world feels for Ukraine. We understand what it will do for Ukraine, but we want to get to the World Cup”.

“That is not coming from a horrible place, it is coming from our country and hearts, as we want to deliver for our own fans.”
