Henry Ruggs Parents: Nataki And Hery Ruggs – Brother Kevontae

He is a professional American football player who started his breaking-ground career in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Henry was born on January 24, 1999, to his parents, Henry Ruggs Jr. and Nataki Ruggs, in Montgomery, Alabama.

The NFL player had an athletic background, as his mother, Nataki, was a high-school track winner.

Henry attended Robert E. Lee High School with his parent’s support but only played from his junior year.

Later as a collegiate freshman at Alabama in 2017, Ruggs had 12 receptions for 229 yards and six touchdowns.

Finally, he made it to his NFL dream after his 2020 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders.

The key source of passion for sports was instilled in Henry by his parents, Nataki and Henry Ruggs Jr.

Initially, Nataki, his mother, was Henry’s inspiration to be in the sports field, as she played track in her high school days at Junction City, Kansas.

Henry’s mother has a record of a 40-yards dash in 4.23 seconds during her early morning workout sessions.

But unfortunately, Nataki’s career was cut short due to her injury during the racing hurdles.

Despite her incomplete career, she made sure that her son, Henry, would be able to complete his dreams and helped him throughout.

His father, Henry Ruggs Jr. provided no technical knowledge like Nataki but a lot of emotional support.

After his parents, his only companion for Henry was his brother, Kevontae Ruggs.

Kevontae is a football player like his brother Henry and plays for the East Mississippi Community College.

Rugg’s brothers are equally loved by their parents, inspiring them to keep progressing.

Although his parents stayed tight-lipped and out of controversy during the Henry controversy.

Kevontae was born on March 2, 2000, which makes him 23 years old

Kevontae attended Robert E. Lee High School and started three games as a linebacker freshman at Ole Miss in 2018.

Later, after spending his first year with Ole Miss, he was transferred to East Mississippi.

During the East Mississippi, Kevontae has 19 solo tackles and seven assists.

Kevontae has supported his brother, Henry, throughout the manslaughter controversy, which can lead Henry to 3-10 years of jail time.

Henry Ruggs In A Drunk And Drive Felony

On November 2, 2021, Ruggs was involved in a fatal accident, leading to the death of Tina, a 23-year-old, and her dog.

Henry drove up to 156 miles per hour down residential streets under the alcohol influence in November 2021.

According to the CBS report, when the police arrived, the former Las Vegas Raiders star was in a wrecked state but was rushed to the hospital on time.

Later he was released from custody on a $150k bond by the Raiders, and after his guilty plea for the felony, he will possibly only get the 3 to 10 years in Nevada prison.

The hearing on the manslaughter case is set to be held on May 10, 2023, where the judges will sentence him accordingly.
