MAURICIO POCHETTINO FINALLY REACHED AN AGREEMENT WITH PSG TO TERMINATE CONTRACT

Mauricio Pochettino has finally reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to terminate his contract early this summer.

Pochettino is set for a huge payday after getting his contract terminated one year early by Paris Saint-Germain after both parties finally reached an agreement on his compensation fee.

PSG and Pochettino had hit a roadblock during negotiations over the terms of his disengagement when the 50-year-old manager demanded his full compensation package worth €17million.

According to a report via Marca, the French giants have agreed on a compensation package of €10million with the Argentine who will now step down as head coach of PSG.

Pochettino guided PSG to the 2021/22 Ligue 1 title but the club’s chiefs were eager to replace the 50-year-old manager after the Parisians’ disappointing campaign in the UEFA Champions League after they were knocked out in the round of 16 by Real Madrid.

Christophe Galtier has already confirmed his departure from Nice and will be the next person to take over the position that Pochettino has left in Paris.
