Moses Josiah Moody is a professional American basketball player who is on a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

He played high school basketball for Parkview Arts, North Little Rock High School, and Montverde Academy.

For his collegiate career, he committed to play with Arkansas Razorbacks as a consensus four-star recruit, becoming the first highest-ranked player to choose Arkansas since Bobby Portis in 2013.

He declared for the 2021 NBA draft, forgoing his remaining college eligibility, and the Warriors drafted him as the 14th overall pick.

During his rookie season, he won the NBA championship with the Warriors.

Kareem appeared on the podcast of Audacy’s sports page, and while talking about his son, he mentioned his pact with Moses.

His father made a deal with his son; he would train Moses every morning before school, but the shooting guard had to wake up on his own.

This displayed how much young Moses wanted to reach new heights to fulfil his dream of being a top basketball player.

Likewise, the professional basketball player’s mother, Rona Moody can be seen enjoying her son’s basketball games.

Rona made a tweet that read, “I’ve worn my son’s jersey every single game for two seasons straight to make sure that there was at least one in the arena every game”.

During his time with the North Little Rock High School team, Moses was named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Underclassman Team and the Arkansas 7A All-State Team.

In his junior year with the Montverde Academy, his impressive performance at the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League earned him the All-EYBL honorable mention.

After a successful high school career, Moody played for the Arkansas Razorbacks and earned SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC honors.

On August 5, 2021, Moses signed a 4-year/$17.02 million deal with the golden state warriors, and in October, he made his debut in NBA.

On June 16, 2022, Moody won the NBA finals with the Warriors. The Warriors exercised a $3.92 million option for 2023-24 on October 31, 2022.

The professional basketball player scored a career-high 30 points in a 131-124 loss to the Denver Nuggets on March 08, 2022.

Similarly, he grabbed a career-high 8 rebounds in a match against the Los Angeles Clippers on March 8, 2022.
