Tyree Jackson Parents: Susan And Fluarry Jackson

  • Tyree Jackson is an American football tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football as a quarterback at Buffalo. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2019. He played for the DC Defenders of the XFL in 2020.

Tyree Jackson’s parents Susan, and Fluarry Jackson, raised three kids who have all dipped their toes in the athletic world. Jackson has two older siblings, Fluarry Jr, and McKenzie VanPatten. 

After going undrafted in 2019, Tyree was selected by the Buffalo Bills but was later waived. Jackson went on to join the XFL team, DC Defenders, in 2019 but returned to NFL in 2021 with Philadelphia Eagles.

During his time with the Eagles, Tyree hasn’t been able to make much impact. The Jalen Hurts-led team made it to the Super Bowl LVII without Jackson but lost against Patrick Mahomes‘ Kansas City Chiefs.

Earlier this year, in April, the Eagles retained Jackson after he signed his exclusive rights tender. With good showcasing in the ongoing training camp, Tyree might be able to claw back into the Eagles’ team.

Tyree Jackson’s parents Susan, and Fluarry Jackson, raised three kids in Norton Shores, Michigan. The couple does not share athletic background but supported their son’s athletic career from day one. 

In an interview with ESPN, Susan admitted she didn’t want her son to join NFL but work on his master’s degree. But the tight end announced he was heading to the draft.

Since his high school days, Tyree’s parents hadn’t missed any of his games. But in 2013, mid-way through the season, Fluarry Jackson suffered a back injury while at work as a maintenance man. 

He was hospitalized for six weeks and missed the game where Tyree’s team, Mona Shores, clinched a state playoff berth. His coach, Matt Koziak, said it was a tough time for Tyree, who shared a strong bond with his father.

Susan Jackson graduated from Grand Valley State University and works as a schedule coordinator at Laketown Family Dental. On her Facebook handle, Susan Sinke-Jackson has shared several family photos, including Tyrees’ recent wedding to Cailin on June 30, 2023.

Tyree Jackson Siblings, Fluarry Jackson Jr, And McKenzie 

Tyree Jackson grew up with two older siblings, Fluarry Jackson Jr. and McKenzie VanPatten. The older siblings have both previously dabbled in the sporting world.

Fluarry Jackson Jr was a football player like his brother at Hope College. Fluarry Jr played running back, but his career was muddled with injuries. His sister, McKenzie, had a successful career as a cheerleader at Davenport University. 

Fluarry Jackson Jr Is A Social Worker At Paradise Valley Hospital

After graduating from Hope College, Fluarry Jr worked on his master’s degree at Grand Valley State University. He graduated with a degree in social work in 2019 and began his career with Orchard View Schools.

In 2019, Fluarry Jr worked as a therapist for Arbor Circle for nine months before joining Paradise Valley Hospital in 2020. The older brother of Tyree Jackson also serves Hackley Community Care.

Fluarry Jr tied the knot with his longtime partner Savanna on June 14, 2020. The couple has two kids, with the latest addition to the family being Eden Dwayne Jackson on June 17, 2023.

The couple’s firstborn is a baby girl named Rain, who appears regularly on her father’s Facebook handle.

McKenzie VanPatten Works At Access of West Michigan

While at Davenport University, McKenzie won Stunt National Championship from 2015-2017. She also won NCA National Champion from 2014-2017 and was a Stunt All-American team in 2015 and 2016. 

After graduation, McKenzie worked as an Assistant Coach for Davenport Cheer and Stunt team. During her time, she led the University to Stunt National Championship and Varsity Stunt National Championship.

While working at Davenport University, McKenzie also worked as a Co-Executive Director of Programs at Access of West Michigan, a non-profit organization.

She began at Access as a vegetable prescription program coordinator and later became the program manager for all Good Food Systems programming.

McKenzie tied the knot with Donovan VanPatten on February 12, 2022. The couple is yet to have kids but are parents to a furry pet named Gordie. McKenzie is available on Instagram with the username @mckenziecvanpatten and has shared several family pictures.
