• Nathan Donald Diaz is an American professional mixed martial artist who is currently a free agent. Diaz is most known for his time spent fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he fought for over 15 years after winning The Ultimate Fighter 5. Prior to signing with the UFC, Diaz competed in World Extreme Cagefighting, Strikeforce, and Pancrase.

Everyone who watches the UFC knows who Nate and Nick Diaz are. However, very few people might know that the Diaz brothers also have a sister, Nina Diaz.

The Diaz siblings grew up in Stockton, California, with their mother, Melissa, as their father was not present for most of their upbringing.

Nina saw her brothers grind and become successful MMA fighters since their childhood. Perhaps due to their challenging upbringing, the siblings share a strong bond.

Nate Diaz learned to fight alongside his older brother, Nick. When they were kids, their mom often sent them to swimming classes.

However, they were more interested in fighting and began learning aikido and karate around ten.

Nate attended Tokay High School in California but did not focus much on his studies as he had already decided to start a fighting career.

His older brother, Nick, dropped out of school in his second year, and Nate soon followed him.

Nate Diaz was born as the middle child of his parents, Melissa and Robert Diaz, on April 16, 1985, in California, United States. While his elder brother, Nick, is as famous as him because of his UFC career, their little sister, Nina, is not so popular.

Many people only found out Nate had a sister when he posted her on his social media handles, wishing her a happy birthday.

Although there is no information about her full birthdate, she celebrates her birthday on July 29.

Growing up, the Diaz siblings endured a life full of hardships. In the absence of their father, their mom, Melissa, worked as a waitress to raise them.

Even though that was not enough, she still managed to send them to high school.

While Nate and Nick opted to drop out to begin their MMA career, Nina was the only one to graduate high school. 

The brothers do not want to disclose much about their personal life, including about their little sister.

The professional MMA fighter Nate Diaz has been in a relationship with Misty Brown for a long time.

Although he has never revealed how he met Misty, they might probably know each other from their childhood as they are from the same place.

Misty was born to her parents, Steven and Karla, on March 24, 1985, in Stockton, California. 

She does a very good job being the partner of one of the most notorious UFC fighters. One can often notice Misty sitting in the front row of the stands while Nate fights in the octagon.

As per the sources, though they have been together for years, they are yet to marry.

However, they have two beautiful daughters. Misty gave birth to their first daughter, Nikayla Diaz, on June 6, 2018.

In 2022, they welcomed their second daughter. But, they have not revealed their second child’s name to the public yet.
